Shepherd Wellness Community has updated its COVID 19 policies, procedures, mitigation efforts and safety protocols. We no longer require proof of COVID vaccination to attend SWC events.
If you have a confirmed positive test after attending SWC, please contact us immediately: 412 683 4477 or [email protected].
AT THIS TIME MASKS ARE OPTIONAL, NOT REQUIRED, WHEN IN THE SWC BUILDING.
Regardless of vaccination status, you should isolate from others when you have tested positive for COVID-19 and before returning to SWC functions.
If you test positive for COVID-19, please stay home for at least 5 days and isolate from others in your home. You are likely infectious during the first 5 days.
Once symptoms begin improving you may return to SWC functions after day 5 if you are fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication), AND you have a negative test for COVID-19. You must continue to mask through day 10.
Please call SWC (412 683 4477) with any questions, or to confirm when you may return to SWC functions after testing positive.
If your symptoms are not improving or you had moderate illness (you experienced shortness of breath or had difficulty breathing) you need to continue to isolate through day 10. If you experienced severe illness or have a weakened immune system we request you consult your doctor before returning to SWC functions.
If you are unsure if your symptoms are moderate or severe or if you have a weakened immune system, talk to a healthcare provider for further guidance and before returning to SWC functions.
IF YOU DO NOT FEEL WELL, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO AN IN-PERSON DINNER OR PROGRAM.
