Shepherd Wellness Community was formed in 1987 when Episcopal priest Father Lynn Edwards, Social Worker Cyndee Klemanski, and Dr. Bill Brandon met with a group of men dying of AIDS who cried out for a safe place to gather and find acceptance, support, and encouragement. We began helping people die with dignity; now we help people living with HIV/AIDS improve their wellness.
Since its inception, Shepherd Wellness Community has offered meals and supportive services for people living with HIV/AIDS. Your Attendance will support our 2025 kitchen renovation to increase functionality and menu capacity for our wellness dinners, as well as decrease our reliance on plastics and styrofoam. For more information, please call the Shepherd Wellness Community office at 412-683-4477.
